Portland portrait photographer Shayne Blaylock combines classic lighting technique with the expressive character of the Pacific Northwest. Trained in advanced multimedia and 35mm photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), he mastered dynamic light, shadow, and tone. His work balances technical precision with emotional resonance — visually dramatic, yet grounded in authentic human connection.
After interning at Precision Camera & Video Photo Lab in Austin, Texas, Shayne refined his craft in film development and digital imaging. Today, he brings a storytelling approach to portraiture, editorial campaigns, and personal branding sessions, capturing Portland’s textured character, cinematic light, and moody atmosphere.
